I had a serious case of the Monday Blues, so I decided to turn my Monday Red with Warwicks Red Blend: Three Cape Ladies. My blueness was soon a distant memory, as I swirled, sniffed and explored my palete with this deep ruby red lady.

Nose
Cassis, Flat cola, dried prune, mocha, black pepper ending with a minty glow. Palate
Matured in French oak for 20 months, this Three Cape Ladies red blend is deliciously bold and full bodied, your palate will get completely swept away with a mouthful full of deep dark plums, with subtle notes of mocha, black pepper and a whisper on fresh fennel. There's a slight bit of sweet fruitiness which balances out the chalky tannin's making the wine quite moreish.
Food suggestions
Boeuf Bouruignon, ostrich, game, sirloin and quinoa stuffed bell peppers
Overall all
I'm off to purchase a few more, then lay these red ladies to bed for another 5-8 years.
